Introduction
Our carbonization rotary kiln operates on a continuous process, which mainly involves preheating the furnace, feeding material, and discharging carbon. It is referred to as a continuous carbonization furnace because, once the furnace is preheated, the feeding of material into the furnace is continuous, and the discharge of carbon is also continuous. The carbonization process takes about 30 minutes, and all these operations are carried out while the furnace is running. The furnace can operate 24 hours a day, and each start-up of the equipment can run for 5-6 days.
Working Principle
The continuous carbonization kiln contains guide vanes inside.
When the raw materials enter the main carbonization furnace, they move horizontally under the influence of the guide vanes as the main furnace rotates.
The materials gradually move from the feed port to the charcoal outlet, getting carbonized during the transition.
Air isolation devices are installed at both the feeding and charcoal extraction points to prevent air entry, maintaining an oxygen-poor environment inside the main furnace during continuous feeding and charcoal extraction.
After the carbonization process in the furnace is complete, the materials fall into a charcoal spiral device at the charcoal outlet.
The charcoal is then rapidly cooled from high temperatures to around 40 degrees Celsius through water-cooled heat exchange within the charcoal spiral device, facilitating charcoal extraction during equipment operation.

Biomass:
Rice husks, straw, coconut shells, palm shells, bamboo, sawdust, bagasse, distillers' grains, olive pits, coffee husks, fruit shells, hazelnut shells, sawdust, oak, jute stalks, peanut shells, sunflower stalks, peach pits, etc.
Sludge:
Municipal sludge, river sludge, industrial sludge.
Output
Biomass Carbonization:
The main product of biomass carbonization is charcoal (either in pellet or powder form). Biomass charcoal can be used to produce carbon-based fertilizer, barbecue charcoal sticks, hookah charcoal, activated carbon, and other products.
Sludge Carbonization:
The main purpose of sludge carbonization is reduction and harmless treatment. Additionally, the carbonized sludge has a certain calorific value and can be used to make bricks, process slow-release fertilizers, and produce roadbed materials, among other applications.

Product Features and Advantages
1. Dynamic Sealing, High-Efficiency Continuous Production
The continuous carbonization furnace achieves dynamic sealing at the feed and carbon discharge ports through specialized design, ensuring the equipment remains sealed during operation. As the furnace operates, raw materials continuously enter for carbonization, and the carbonized materials are consistently discharged through the carbon outlet.

2. Stainless steel 310S material
The main combustion chamber of the continuous carbonization furnace is made from stainless steel 310S material, which can withstand temperatures up to 650°C

3. Double-layer cylinder structure
The main furnace of the continuous carbonization furnace employs a double-layer structure, with the inner cylinder for drying and the outer cylinder for carbonization. This design reduces the footprint by nearly half, while also minimizing the contact area between the cylinder and the external environment.

4. Triple safety assurance
The main furnace of the continuous carbonization furnace is equipped with explosion-proof panels that can relieve pressure directionally in the event of abnormal internal pressure. Sensors are installed at multiple critical locations to immediately detect any abnormal conditions.

5. Energy-saving production, recycling and utilizing combustible gas
In most cases, aside from the preheating stage, the continuous carbonization furnace does not require additional fuel for heating. It can meet the heating needs for carbonization simply by recycling and utilizing the combustible gas produced from the carbonization of materials.

6. Intelligent PLC control system
The continuous carbonization furnace is based on an automatic PLC control foundation, utilizing an Ethernet communication network and 5G technology for structural support. The centralized control system is managed via a supervisory computer that creates a human-machine interaction platform, generating dynamic operating process diagrams.

Installation & Training

We also provide clients with testing data reports of installation and operation for confirmation.
