Introduction
Our HC Series Double-shaft Shredders are small to large size reduction machines suitable for processing a wide range of materials to a smaller size. The products can often be sold as is, or be sent for further processing through additional equipment. Throughout typically range from 300kg/h to 2t/h depending on the model, material type and application.
According to the different needs of customers, we can not only provide different types of single shredders, but also provide a complete set of equipment production lines and solutions.
Structural Composition
1.Frame and Housing: Made of heavy-duty steel, this structure supports all other parts of the shredder.
2.Shredding Chamber: Contains two parallel shafts equipped with rotating blades where materials are shredded.
3.Rotating Shafts: Two shafts rotate in opposite directions, each fitted with cutting blades that intermesh to chop materials into smaller pieces.
4.Cutting Blades: Blades made of hardened steel are mounted on each shaft, designed to handle various shredding tasks.
5.Drive System: Includes motors and gearboxes that power the shafts, ensuring they rotate with enough force.
6.Control Panel: Features electrical controls and a programmable logic controller (PLC) for automating operations and providing safety functions like jam clearance.
7.Pusher or Feeding Mechanism: Some models use a hydraulic pusher to feed materials consistently into the blades.
8.Discharge System: Shredded materials exit through this system, which may include a conveyor or bin.
9.Base and Support Structures: Provide extra stability and support during operation.
10.Safety Features: Emergency stops and protective covers ensure safe operation.
Working Principle
A double-shaft shredder operates with two counter-rotating shafts, each equipped with sharp blades that intermesh as they spin. Materials are fed into the shredder via a hopper or conveyor, where they are caught by the blades and pulled into the cutting zone between the shafts. The opposing rotations of the shafts create a shearing action that effectively cuts and tears the material into smaller pieces. The size of the shredded output is determined by the blade configuration and spacing. Shredded materials then exit the shredder for collection or further processing, while the entire operation is managed through a control panel that ensures efficiency and safety with features like auto-reverse for clearing jams.

1. Various straws, waste wood, garden waste and other biomass materials.
2. Waste household appliances: TV, washing machines, refrigerator casings, etc.
3. Pipes: large pipes, key, PE pipes, etc.
4. Waste templates: wooden pallets, plastic pallets, forklift pallets.
5. Scrap tires: car tires, truck tires, etc.
6. Scrap metal: automobile shells, aluminum alloys, scrap aluminum castings, engine casings, lead and steel plates with a thickness of less than 5mm.
7. Rubber head material, paper mill twisted rope.

Installation & Training
If necessary, we can send a technical team oversea to guide your installation and support you start up the line. Generally, including 2 mechanical engineer,1 electrician and 1 translator. It will take about 30-40 days to finish the installation in general. After installation, we will take charge of the single equipment debugging, whole line debugging, and test running with materials. We also provide clients with testing data reports of installation and operation for confirmation. We will ensure all the line can regularly run under the condition of full load before our technical team leave.
